this morning. some upper 40s still in santa rosa and fairfield. livermore right now checking in 50. downtown san francisco 51 degrees. forecast head lines for today, mostly sunny skies. a bit of some haze. tomorrow once again some patchy morning frost but it won't be as cold. no warnings or advisories to talk about. the weekend will be dry with still some patchy fog to talk about during the morning hours. as far as the temperatures from this morning, once again we're talking about some 20s out towards santa rosa, napa, fairfield, concord and morgan hill. in the upper 20s across these neighborhoods. high pressure developing off shore. you can see the storm track. not much of it. in fact, just a few high clouds out there. we will hold on to the dry weather pattern. as far as the warming that will continue with the afternoon highs and we will be talking more low 60s the next few days. and patchy morning fog. when you get this developing weather pattern, it is very stable and that allows the fog to form in the inland valleys. we could have a few patches over the next few mornings. in terms of hi

struggling in the 40s over parts of the north at santa rosa mid to upper 40s, walnut creek 49. 36 degrees right there at the top. 512 and sanare moan down into the south bay. 40s to low 50s outside for you. san jose 50 looking at 49 at fremont. 53 for sunnyville and along the peninsula at this hour. 51 degrees memo park. 54 at the hills. temperatures will continue to climb as we get into the afternoon, not by a lot, but again we don't have a warming trend underway, a look here at the satellite view, so a few high clouds just spilling over the bay area for today. these brought in by the flow at that ridge of high pressure we've been watching for the last few days, it is now edging inland and it is going to be bring us offshore breeze. you can see here from the arrows that where that flow sending us a few high clouds as well. for today following that chilly start as frost advisories, we're looking at slightly warmer temperatures for the afternoon, light wind and air quality will remain good to moderate. here is a look at the afternoon highs expected for today. 57 degrees in santa rosa. 56 f

and taken to santa rosa memorial hospital. no other vehicles were involved and the cause of the crash is under investigation. the truck is registered to a paving company called northwest engineering based in santa rosa. >>> they are hoping surveillance footage leads to a man who set a small fire at a redwood city elementary school. he set the fire in a garbage can on new year's eve and it spread to an adjacent garbage can and didn't spread to the school. the man is shown here and is believed to be between 17 and 22 years old and wearing a thin moustache and raiders cap with ear flaps. >>> a woman suffered burns after an apartment fire. the 81-year-old woman fell asleep while smoke ago cigarette in her living room last night. flames gutted the unit ever the apartment which is located at second and e streets. neighbors say they hope the woman can make a full recovery. >> hoping she is okay. we know she suffered burns and things like that. hopefully she is okay. we will go from there. it is completely gone. but you know that was the only apartment affected by it. >> the woman remains in
